Out of odds & ends we created hand puppets today.  Maggie had a monster theme & Lily wanted the characters from Sessme street including elmo, Cookie Monster, the grouch, Ernie, & big bird.  And an elephant. We used feathers for the hair or hat and the kids had a chance to get sticky with glue. We poked holes in styrofoam cups and strung through straws for arms & legs.  Lily did

well sticking the straws in. Maggie did great also. We used soft waxy crayons to easily draw the faces on the cups.

Lily enjoyed watching me take a straw & blow feathers across the table.  She didn’t attempt it but will soon by interest.  You can tell.
