Kaufman workbook
May 17, 2015 Lily requested & sat with me and read the kaufman workbook again today. It has becomes a favorite. We spent at least 45 minutes reading on the floor.

Maggie’s Lesson on the 15thi
We worked on a bunch of different subjects with worksheets today. Worksheets focused on: Colors: specifically brown. Coloring a picture & writing out the word brown. Writing letters: the letter b and m. Both lower & uppercase. Finding the letter f and color pictures with the letter within them. freestyle drawing coloring by shapes

Pencil grip
May 15, 2015 Maggie has been using many more colored pencils & fat pencils standard to kindergarten. Her pencil grip is improving. We are using rubber grip additions on the pencils and that has had a positive effect. She is able to write smaller & color in the lines easier which is also improving.

Binder
May 15, 2015 we attempted to read Lily’s binder but after the first few pages she was disinterested. We never made it back to it. Instead carried on with noun labeling.

Noun cards
we used the Kaufman nouns cards today. Lily blew through half of them in less than half an hour.
